Fedora Core 6 Parallels Macbook Image
Fedora Core 6
Fedora Core 6 is basically RedHat. This is the latest Fedora Core, running Gnome desktop. This is tweaked and tuned for the Macbook. All updates, drivers and patches are complete as of 12.13.06. Screen rez is proper @ 1280x800 for the beautiful Macbook.
With using 3.9GB for the image files.
I did install pretty much all applications "most" people will want.
DVD, MP3 etc. playback.
Also, I added Apt, Synaptic for package management along with YUM.
Not working on this release

The
nfo file will tell you more about my distro. Basically this is for the
Macbook users that want to try FD6 but don't want to mess around with
installing software, doing updates, config'n etc.
You must have Parallels to run this!

Comments
I'm trying to download your FC6 image via bittorrent, but apparently there's nobody seeding it right now. If you've got the bandwidth, please share it for me even though it's quite some months old.
You could also help me a lot by just sending me your xorg.conf. I just can't get it configured right, which is my main problem right now.
Thanks in advance.
Unable to allocate virtual machine memory!
This error may occur mostly if there is no enough free disk space available on the physical disk to allocate virtual machine paging file. Try to clean up the physical disk (remove unnecessary files). If it doesn't help, try to re-install Parallels Desktop.
I have 2 GB free space on my firewire drive. Any ideas? The next thing I will try is moving to my local hard drive subdirectory where my other images are. These all work fine by the way.
I know it sounds like common sense, but I do not see why I couldn't run it off the firewire drive. I will be looking into this.
Thank you for the image!
