Compaq SR5310F - Vista to XP upgrade
Searching as each geek does when clients come to you in a crying state about the inferior OS that was pushed upon them, only to come up with "yahoo groups" and getting the general n00b-on-n00b help that comes of it.. you come to no answer. Since I do this often (upgrade to XP from Vista) for clients, I really should start logging how to do it. Because.. there is an epidemic of Vista spreading. Also, companies like HP/Compaq or annoying the masses without putting XP drivers up for new models. That's ok, that's why I get payed. Thanks~
Drivers needed
-Realtek ALC888 (sound)
-Intel GMA 950 (video)
-Realtek RTL8101E 10/100 (nic)
-XP updates finds the modem drivers (if that even matters..)

PCIE_Install_5680,
Vista modem driver included under HP - worked on XP
Ms.Bus.DriverKB835221.exe
