BackTrack Parallels Image for Macbooks

Comments

umm did you just delete my post? If you are distributing malware people should have a right to know about it. Especially if some are spending 7 bucks on your dvd....

Original comment:

I downloaded this torrent and then scanned it with ClamXav (a os x anti-virus) and it told me Suspect.zip FOUND, which means the zip had been tampered with.

I then unzipped it and scanned all the files inside, the .pvs and the others came up clean but ClamXav told me the .hdd file was or had a worm (worm.perl.santy.A) or some variant inside it.

I realize this is a security distribution with keylogger programs and the like even built in, but the BackTrack 1.0 and BackTrack 2.0 beta with those same programs both came up clean through the same scanning.

A response would be nice.

Thanks

Ops.

Not sure whats worse. Running an AV in OSX or assuming an AV can scan across to a proprietary VM image.

Sorry, have no idea.

I found nothing else than this to simply run backtrack on a mac using parallels (did not try btw) and it seems that this shit you, "ramsinks", made is fully loaded with some #$%? keyloggers or w/e. Even on tpb, many comments say there are some virus and you tell people you can send em a DVD for 7bux, in other words, 7bux for virus... I'm sorry but it sucks.
